Worth every penny in the Sahara
Used these in Morocco on a 10-day overlanding trip. Got stuck in soft sand 3 times and the MAXTRAX got me out every single time without needing a tow. Cleaned up easily and packed back on the roof rack. Do not cheap out and buy knockoffs.

Works fine, storage bag is basic
It itself works as intended but the included storage bag is pretty thin and started fraying after a few uses.

Confidence-inspiring build quality
You can tell it is rated properly — feels overbuilt in a good way for actual off-road recovery situations.

Well made, compact to store
It is genuinely well constructed and packs down small enough to keep in the truck without taking up much space.

Reliable when it mattered
Used it during an actual recovery on a muddy trail and it performed exactly as expected — no fraying, no slipping.

Great addition to the recovery kit
Added it to my kit and it's already been used twice this season pulling out a stuck UTV and a friend's Jeep.

Does what it's supposed to
No complaints about performance of the MAXTRAX MKII Recovery Boards, just wish it came with better documentation on safe working load.
